Besides getting ready for Historicon, getting new products in, and so on, we are also in the middle of a photo shoot for our up and coming American Uncivil War rules and thought you might like to see a few.

The fine folks at the USPS, FedEx, and UPS have dumped tons of boxes on us at Architects of War HQ.  Thank goodness they were filled with great new releases!  By the end of the week (Friday), the following items will be available to order:

A Very Perry Historicon!

This year's Historicon is shaping up to be a bonanza of Perry Miniatures goodness for Architects of War!  We just received the first pictures for the special Exclusive Historicon figure:

This wonderful 28mm Civil War miniature will be available at the show in limited quantities. It is specially sculpted for the show in Fredericksburg.  How do you get this figure?  It will be free with the purchase of 3 boxed sets of any Perry Plastics at the Architects of War stand while supplies last.

But what about those who can't make it to Historicon I hear you cry??  Well we will also be offering this through our website after Historicon for any purchases made of any three Perry plastic boxed sets. You won’t even have to tick a box or anything , we will just include it.

Don't forget that Historicon is also home to the First Annual Perry Miniatures Painting Contest sponsored by Architects of War.  You can find all the details about the contest HERE.  We will also have a second exclusive figure for those entering the Painting Contest (one per person, while supplies last) - the Flag Painter.  

Historicon Events

As we march toward Historicon (July 19-22, 2012 - Fredericksburg VA) we are busy finalizing all the exciting events for the weekend.  In addition to the Perry Miniature Painting Contest, we also have lots of gaming events planned with our friends throughout the weekend.

Saga Tournament - Noon, run by Joe Moore. 6 point warbands, 3 rounds.
An American Uncivil War Demos - All day, run by Architects of War. Come and try out our newest rulebook An American Uncivil War in small demos geared toward teaching you the rules.  All models and terrain provided.
Fanticide Demos - All day, run by Alien Dungeon. Come out and experience the homicidal warband action of Fanticide, the newly released Fantasy Skirmish game from Alien Dungeon. All models and terrain will be provided for these short games to teach you the rules.

Friday
Hail Caesar - 1:00 PM, run by Miles Reidy. Early Imperial Romans battle against Dacians.
An American Uncivil War Demos - All day, run by Architects of War. Come and try out our newest rulebook An American Uncivil War in small demos geared toward teaching you the rules.  All models and terrain provided.
Fanticide Demos - All day, run by Alien Dungeon. Come out and experience the homicidal warband action of Fanticide, the newly released Fantasy Skirmish game from Alien Dungeon. All models and terrain will be provided for these short games to teach you the rules.  
An American Uncivil War - 8:00 PM, run by Architects of War. This scenario driven game will feature the newly released An American Uncivil War rules in an exciting game of action and intrigue! All models and terrain provided.

Saturday
Saga (Scenario Games) - 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, run by Jon Lundberg. Learn to play Saga.  Bring your own warbands or use those provided.

Fanticide Scenario: The Great Sinning - 8:00 PM, run by Alien Dungeon. As winter draws near and food grows scarce, the Liberi find themselves entering the Forests of Nowhere in search of provisions for the winter. The Fae do not take kindly to any incursion into their lands, and Fanticide rages across the land! Come out and experience an evening of warband action as you play the newest game from Alien Dungeon!
